My favourite of the series, the action is transplanted to Nagare’s mother’s café in Hakodate. A gentle and subtle read- still cried tho

Actually raging at this one 😐😩 My book got thrown across the room.

Vert similar to the first two, wit  Nagare, Kazu and Sachi front and centre, we have a new setting - and whilst I like the short and lyrical stories, meaning its easy to pick up, and the comfort that comes with knowing what you're getting, that was just cruel man.

Compared to the previous books, this shows a different side of humanity where characters seek reasons to continue with life when they are at their lowest. Their objectives remain the same: to see someone in their past, but also to not live in regrets.

The ending is bittersweet. The author did not sugarcoat the circumstances but does implore you to look at things in different perspectives for the sake of your loved ones.

A beautiful switch to a new cafe. But I feel like we could have a few stories where someone doesn’t die :(
