This was fine but I didn't enjoy it as much as the other two books in the series so far. Mostly tragic dead woman stories about guys.

As ever the last story in the collection really brought the whole series together, and because it was about the characters who work in the cafe there was a greater emotional connection to them rather than the other tales. Enjoyable, but I prefer the earlier books in the series.

i don’t understand how Kawaguchi continues to write such phenomenal books despite them having the same layout and overall themes. they hit every time and never fail to make me sob. the character development is amazing and the dialogue is so good too. this is definitely a must-read series. i would literally read Kawaguchi’s grocery list.
please read the trigger warnings!!!
