AMO la representación de este cuento, les dice a las futuras generaciones que esta bien ser quien eres, y no por nacer “diferente” eso significa que es algo malo, al contrario es algo hermoso y es algo que no se debe de juzgar. Como el papá apoya a su hijo, y lo anima a no sentirse avergonzado por su “sombra rosa” llore, ojalá y todos los papás fueran así de comprensivos y no soltaran la misma típica frase “es una fase”

I could tell the author was trying to do something good here, but it didn't work for me. It just reinforced the binary it was trying to subvert. I wish we could just have more children's books with everyday queer characters.

This made me cry (happily) at work, I can firmly say it's one of my favorite picture books.
