Epic MindF@ck! I read and read a lot of books. I think I know this genre, Jettie got me, not once but twice. But, the way her story unfolds is subtle and dark yet truly twisted. Her writing is simple, yet deceiving. I.LOVED.EVERY.WORD.

I can't say more than read the BOOK! Jettie has a way of taking a horrific experience and walking you through it so it is palatable then flipping you so out of your comfort zone, you are hooked!!! I want to know more about Paxton. I want to get to the end and see that justice is served. I want my questions answered and more importantly I want a my Clydes to survive!

I'm shocked that this book had such high ratings. The story made no sense to me. There are just way too many unanswered questions in this one, and Paxton is a HORRIBLE character. I might just read Book 2 just to find out what the hell is going on. Why do I bother, I don't even know.

This is my first Jettie Woodruff book and wow now I think I may be a fan. This book....what to even say about it. At first it's really kind of confusing but in a good way. Right from the get go you are trying to figure out what is going on.

Gabriella appears to have a very unusual relationship with her husband Paxton. He is beyond controlling and quite cruel. After a car accident Gabby loses her memory and has no idea who her husband, kids and friends are. All she can remember is from the accident on. Her husband thinks she's faking and wants the wife he agreed to but she really can't remember this life she's in. Nothing feels like her. She tries to be the wife her husband expects but she just can't and somehow that seems to really end up building their relationship (not necessarily in the way Paxton wants but even he can't deny he and his feeling are changing).

*side note: I am so curious why Paxton wanted the type of marriage he had. There must be a story there.

This book is really just one twist and turn after the other. Every time Gabby sleeps she starts to remember her past...her past as a child of a mother with drug problems and a twin who is her best friend and a part of her. She just can never seem to remember her adult life.

Seriously I really don't even know what to say about this book except it kept my attention, so much so that I wanted to pick this book up and read it every little chance I had. The end is a very big twist, mind fuck and cliffhanger. I can't wait to see how this ends
