I must confess that I enjoyed reading it, the plot is very light and the set up is contemporary so it's very easy to follow and understand. I like the banter and chemistry between the two MMC and FMC, it's very funny and MMC is such a good lover (sometimes he doesn't but we don't talk about it, okay)

Okay, let's talk about things I don't like in this book since I love drama :)))) I don't like how the author describes FMC as the paranormal vlogger and f**k it up. What kind of paranormal vlogger will come to the abandon, haunted cathedral without any protection? And what in the pit in hell, she can find the binding spell on Internet and it works???! Also, girl, get yourself together, I know he's hot but don't swift to your h**ny mood as if there is the switch somewhere. Wait, is there?

I don't like the random smut in this book. Like, they were sneaking in the antagonist house and then they decided to making love in the "big boss" bedroom???! It ruins the thrilling vibe of that part, I want to see how skillful they're as the spymaster not on bed. Okay, now we talk about this "big boss", he's described as the main antagonist, master of the cult, demon's controller... so many big title and then the author gave him a death which is sooo boring that I don't even remember what it was.

In general, I think this book is decent, it's funny, easy to read. And it helps me to refresh my brain after "The cruel prince". I will continue with the two other books in this trilogy to see where it will take me.

Ending was a bit disappointing, like I still have so many questions. The epilogue gave nothing away either, like what happens now???

Wow, this was... something? My rating is balancing between a four-star and an almost-DNF, so I'll give it a 3 to be safe.

Things I liked:
♱The way she was a creepy-gal FMC
♱The fact that they didn't go totally blasphemous with the demon. Like the lore made it to where I didn't feel like I needed to clutch my bible and repent for reading this lmao
♱The cat

Things I didn't like:
♱She vaped
♱It was a little too kinky for me
♱I felt like I was hit over the head with some stuff over and over and over. Like... we get it

I'm not sure if I would recommend this one but I hear the third book is the best so now I'm curious enough to read the series purely so I can see if book 3 is actually good. Though based on the little sneak peak of Callum we got... it definitely could be
