od czego tu zacząć? w połowie tej książki doszłam do fundamentalnej konkluzji, iż jest ona poziomem, ladnie mówiąc, zbliżona do wattpadowskich wysrywów. poziom języka niewiarygodnie niski, jestem przekonana, że losową piętnastoletnią autorkę wattpada stać na coś lepszego. tylko że to nie jest historyjka na wattpadzie - to jest WYDANA KSIAZKA. jestem zdania, że wydanie tego na papierze było pomyłką i nigdy nie powinno mieć miejsca.
jak najbardziej można czytać książki dla przyjemności o różnorakiej tematyce, mogą być to też również smuty, aczkolwiek milo by bylo też coś wynieść z tej książki. głupi przyklad, ale główna bohaterka "credence" ma tak ładnie rozrysowane myślenie na temat rodziców, tak rozbudowaną psychologię postaci, że można z nią nawet empatyzowac. a tak się składa, ze z "her soul to take" nie wyniosłam nic oprócz obniżenia mojego ilorazu inteligencji i straty czasu.

jednym slowem: nie polecam.

Her Soul to Take by Harley Laroux is a perfect dark romance and supernatural seduction. From the very first page, I was pulled into a world dripping with eerie atmosphere, occult mysteries, and intense, forbidden chemistry. The story follows Rae, a horror-loving, strong-willed heroine who stumbles into something much darker than she ever imagined—and finds herself tangled up with Leon, a powerful demon who is as dangerous as he is irresistible.

The banter between Rae and Leon is electric, the pacing is tight, and the world-building is rich and immersive. Harley Laroux doesn’t shy away from the taboo, but it’s done with intention and depth. The spice level is  hot  but it’s layered with emotional tension and genuine character development, which makes it all the more satisfying.

This book is not for the faint of heart—it leans fully into the dark—but for those who love morally gray characters, occult plots and romance that flirts with danger, it’s absolutely perfect. I couldn’t put it down, and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since I finished. A total standout in the genre!
I would have liked to get to know more about Everly , I am hoping she gets the main focus in the next book
