If Her Soul to Take was supposed to steal my soul, it can keep it, I’m not fighting to get it back. The chemistry between the characters? Nonexistent. I’ve seen more believable sparks between two wet noodles. The romance felt so forced, I half expected someone to yell “Action!” between every scene. The plot wandered around like it was lost in a haunted corn maze, and not in a fun, spooky way more like, “Who let this thing get published?” Honestly, I kept reading just to see if anything would improve. Spoiler: it didn’t.

Can tell great research went into this book. There’s fast pace relationship building. Could of drawn out this one book into three by adding more details. Greta read over all. Kept me up reading some nights cause I didn’t want to put it down.
