It was hard to put this down and hard to describe what the book was about. A love story, a growth story, a social commentary, a racial commentary. All of these and more. So thought provoking. It will stay with me for a while.

MIXED FEELINGS.
ifemulu had her moments and sometimes she was really unlikeable
i liked obinze for the most part except his whole deportation thing was a bit too long for me IMO
idk y the blurb on the book mentions only the reunion bc i was stuck waiting for it for so long
and then i did get kinda disappointed bc i never feel good abt cheating :/
i did love the commentary on race and her blog posts were v interesting
definitely worthwhile
it was a bit long though
