Thanks to the Kid Lit Exchange for the review copy. All opinions are my own.

Building towers or reading books. Which is better? Two siblings have the ultimate rivalry until a librarian challenges them to see the other's point of view. The reader must use a stack of books to build. The builder must read a stack. They both resist until they accidentally have fun.

A sweet story that shows that it's OK to know what you love, but sometimes you have the most fun when you stretch beyond your comfort zone.

I love that the girl who loved building fell in love with reading because of a book about castles. Matching interests and readers!
Not sure how I feel about the little boy who loved reading found it fun to build towers out of books though....

Super cute book about a sister who loves to build and her brother who loves to read...and how they learn to love both books and engineering. This was a fun romp featuring creativity, imagination, and finding the right book for the right kid.

A brother and sister pair with different interests, but each comes around to seeing the other’s point of view... with the help of the librarian. Beautiful illustrations that truly feel inclusive.

Fun read to do with a building activity afterwards - lends itself well to highlighting the engineering aspects of STEM.

One hopes this does not encourage children to build elaborate structures out of our library books... oh, the chaos!

A lovely mix of construction and books, with two gender-stereotype-defying siblings.

Cute book about a sister who loves building things and a brother who loves reading. I like that the sister is the builder, and that they learn to appreciate different activities.
