Antonio and Frank's story was cute af and I'm glad I read it even though I hadn't planned on reading it. I hope to read Cal's story soon.

**********Contains Spoilers**********

I really enjoyed this book. Antonio has loved Frank since he first started working for him as a dancer a year ago but doesn’t know how to get Frank to notice him or realise that Felix was actually telling the truth when he told Frank that Antonio has feelings for him. When Frank finally gets with the programme he doesn’t want to get Antonio hurt so it’s safer for him to just stay away, as Frank’s family is completely f*cked up but little does Frank know that Antonio’s family is just as f*cked up, if not more so. I loved getting more of Felix and Lane and found it funny how they were giving Antonio wooing advice for Frank, even if they gave him sh*t for liking him. None of their plans went very well which made the story that much enjoyable. I’m hoping Alice write’s more books in the series, especially Cal as he needs love and support in his life and maybe we’ll get to know why he became an alcoholic, what happened between him and Grayson and maybe we’ll even meet the mysterious Grayson. I wouldn’t even care if they both just heavily featured in another book about Felix and Lane. I’d recommend this book, series and author to everyone.

This was a cute addition to the series. If you remember from book 3 dancer Antonio was hopelessly in love with an oblivious club owner Frank. Last we saw them Antonio was planting one on him when Frank arrived safe from danger. It appears things were not happily ever after after this point. Frank has decided his life is too dangerous to involve Antonio leaving the poor dancer heartbroken. Antonio then becomes so desperate he elicits advice from Felix of all people. As you can probably guess, his advice isn't the greatest.

"Maybe Felix is right, and Stockholm Syndrome is the way to go

After another fun kidnapping adventure, that doesn't turn out anything like I imagined as usual Antonio finally convinces Frank to give them a real go. Fans of the In Darkness series will sure love this little snippet.

You know it’s going to be a laugh when Felix gives Antonio tips on how to make Frank want him . As much as Antonio is up for his plans he’s still not sure if he should go long with them even Lane tries to talk him out of them.

fun times with the sexy pole dancer

This book deals with Frank and Antonio (of the strip club fame) At the end of the 3rd book in The Darkness series, we were all wondering if Frank and Antonio would end up together..
Alice Winters created a novella answering this question. It’s sweet and adorable.
Frank refused to be with Antonio because of his family problems so poor Antonio is suffering with what he thinks is unrequited love.

This book has humour and love in it, as well as Felix attempting to help Antonio with his love life. As you can imagine.. it gets a wee bit out of hand. Hilariously so..

If you like unrequited love on both sides, humour with a smidge of action, cucumbers, dancing and some Felix and Lane.
Read Deceptions in Darkness and IMMEDIATELY after, read this. You will not regret it.

This was fun! I enjoyed reading just a little bit more of these characters that I’ve come to love, especially Felix who was of course hilarious throughout. He and Lane are just like Leland and Jackson, except I think these two came first. Whatever. It was a nice read.
