This author has a lot of helpful advice, but displays ignorance and classism she has not unpacked. I was particularly disappointed by her choice to interview a white man in Northern Minneapolis as a opposed to a Black community leader. That said I think the book is very informative and teaches a lot of useful information, I just wish a sensitivity reader had really gotten into it or even better, if Warnick had recruited a co-author with different life experiences.
