This book is far from perfect (especially towards the end, there are some sentences and images which just don’t flow, the subject of the memoir can be pretty desaturated at times, and a lot of the people that surround them just aren’t well developed characters), but god if it didn’t make me feel seen. there are several episodes in this authors life that mirror scenes from my own and it’s jarring. overall a valuable reading experience, and that teeny short introduction is a beautiful piece of writing.
