I didn't hate it all but I kinda hate it!
Immediately I was taken out of this story by the horrendous and cliché stereotype of abusive hospital staff.
It seems like every movie, book or popular media in general makes Hospital workers out to be the worst, most abusive, awful people ever and I Hate it!
My family is littered with nurses and I have worked in a hospital and all I can say is FUCK YOU, JEFF LEMIRE!!! Hospital Staff are the most hard working people I have ever met!
Hospital Staff work intense jobs, are overworked and understaffed like CRAZY, and they most certainly aren't punching their fucking patients!!!
Fuck YOU Jeff Lemire for perpetuating this stupid absurd stereotype!
This book prides itself on being a thought provoking look at mental illness but it's not! It just makes hospitals and the people who work their asses off, helping people everyday look like the bad guys!
The message seems to be: Be proud of who you are!
As if people with severe mental illnessess don't need any help and just have to love themselves and that will solve all their problems, instead of seeking actual help from people with actual expertise and a willingness to help. BAD!
There are many cases to be made about the flaws of healthcare industry but FUCK YOU if you think that that's Staff's fault!

Honestly, the story wasn't even terrible but I just hate this cliché, dumb shit so much!

This was good, but it's strange.
The way it's written it assumes you've read at least a bit of Moon Knight or know some of his history or rogues gallery.
As someone with little knowledge of the character it was a little hard to follow at times, but it made enough sense.
I really liked the second are and how it swapped between realities, it was an interesting way to tell that part of the story.
I liked it overall, and if there was more after this is be very interested in it as it changes who the character is.

I think this is a very good dive into the character and has a reasonably uplifting theme alongside the dark and violent aspects. I do think that the pacing and themes got a bit lost in some places and it could have been a bit clearer to the reader while still keeping the main character's sense of confusion.

I read this comic hoping that It would help me make sense of the Disney+ series. For a long time I was confused. But in the end I think it helped me understand the character better
