Such a sweet and wholesome read, I only wish it was a bit longer! It’s incredible how much is packed into ~250 pages. Nick and Charlie are both wonderfully written and their story feels so real. The side characters are a bit flat since they only really exist to carry the narrative of our two MCs but honestly that’s such a fair choice for two boys who are so obsessed with each other that they lose sight of anyone else. I cannot wait to get my hands on book 2!

The hype for this graphic novel is absolutely justified! 

The story is so charming and realistically conveys what it’s like to not only be a teenager but the journey of coming out and existing as a queer person in the world. 

The art style is sweet and beautiful, and I loved the emotions the author is able to convey in every panel. 

The end of this volume absolutely left me wanting more, and I can’t wait to pick up the second book!

I’ve been wanting to read from this author and happened to snag this book through their lucky day program for popular reads at my library. I love the comic style and thought this was a vary sweet coming of age read about friendship, romance, and growing up. Will definitely continue the series.
