Such joyful descriptions of scenery, and beautifully worked action scenes. If only the plot weren’t so dull for the first 200 pages, but wonderful book nonetheless. Absolutely no room for the buzzing of bees when head is filled with scenic flights above snow-capped mountain ranges and sparkling lakes

This book is not as action packed as the previous one, however the philosophy and love between Tamairare and Lawrence is as always one of the best aspects of this series. Kierka is hilarious and the battles engaging. This book was a little bit of a lull in the story in my opinion.

Another belter in the series. A quick read, no doubt, but well written in a convincing and compelling voice.

While I still greatly enjoyed this novel, this book became a bit of slog as we entered Part III of the novel. The final segment of the novel was disheartening, and while I enjoyed the characters, the plot of seeing them repeatedly take loss after loss was not enjoyable to read, and made the last half of the novel difficult.
