There are better children's books out there. The kids are mostly brats, and they're super rude to everyone. I remember thinking this was so funny when I was read it as a kid, but now reading it to my kids it wasn't special. Definitely some funny parts, but they are so rude. I didn't act like that with my siblings and my kids don't treat each other like that either. Idk. I guess I'm just picky. 10 and 6yo agree. It was meh. It also had a part where one of the characters was hating on another girl she didn't even know, making fun of her body shape. We don't need that shit being taught to kids wtf.

Fun book to read with my kids...we already read Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing and Superfudge. I had to edit out the 'no santa claus' part in the first one though.

This was the latest audiobook that I listened to in the car with the kids. It was fine, but the earlier books in the series were better. The kids got a kick out of it and want to go on with the series.

Judy Blume is the best. We all enjoyed this one a lot.

more Blume catch-up! This was a solid Fudge series entry, maybe my favorite so far, though the first couple are already a blur.
