i will never forgive my friend who lent me this book, not because it was bad or because i did not enjoy it. but because he believed Catherine to be pronounced like Kathleen all because of the K, now whenever I see this book I read the title absolutely wrong. also bc my other 8th grade friend suggested our math teacher read it and on accident and it was the humiliating thing we'd ever encountered.
I'm almost sorry I'm giving it 1 star but it wasn't okay, it was helluva boring. For someone who has read every single one of Green's books, it was just devastatingly way below average; as if he ran out of tropes and recycled every idea he had ever had and wrote this.
Do not recommend unless... I don't know, perhaps someone who's new to the author's book, can actually find this one readable. For me it was barely that. I struggled to finish it.

I really really liked this book! Colin was a little bit annoying at the beginning but i started to like him at the end of the book. Lindsay was so much better than Alaska, definitely! Now, one book left by John Green!!
A pretty decent book. I mean, it wasn't bad and it wasn't super good either.
In general, I think I preferred Green's other book, [b:Looking for Alaska|99561|Looking for Alaska|John Green|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1327869663s/99561.jpg|919292] but this one was tolerable. This book was about this nerdy boy who just got dumped by the 19th(well 18th) Katherine. I say that because he's only ever dated girls named Katherine. So then he and his friend(I like his friend by the way. that always happens. i end up liking the best friend more than the main character, kind of like in Looking for Alaska with the colonel and Pudge) they go on this road trip, after graduation, kind of to find themselves. And then blah blah.
I didn't like the whole third person thing (that's not like John Green, at all :O) and Colin (there's his name; I forgot it) isn't as cute as Miles. But I looked forward to the footnotes at the bottom of each page. Maybe I'm just a nerd, but I like reading footnotes :) So basically, a fairly decent book but I suggest that if you haven't already that you just read [b:Looking for Alaska|99561|Looking for Alaska|John Green|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1327869663s/99561.jpg|919292].
