THIS SERIES WAS MY CHILDHOOD but I'm looking back and reminiscing, it was like the weirdest book but I had it on tape and me and my siblings would listen to it and oh my gosh allll the feeeels looking back at the books I read as a child.

I read this once when I was younger and I must have trauma-blocked the turtle part from my mind because when I read that scene it all came flooding back.
