An okay read that had a good story, a really good story and then three that I didn't care for. I got this originally for The Cold Equations by Tom Godwin. I had seen the SciFi Channel's adaptation of it starring Billy Campbell and Poppy Montgomery and enjoyed it. The story itself is much more sparse. The writing is very cold too, as in the two characters aren't really developed and the emotional impact is assumed rather than partially created by the writer. I still thought it was a good story and I'm happy to have read it. The story I had never heard of but thought was really good was Exile, by Everett B. Cole. That was fascinating. This story pulled my rating up from 2 to 3 stars.
