Great idea, some excellent use of language. Could've had some real profound meaning too.

Rove Denton, however, should have met his end at the point of an eraser, or the backspace key.

Incidentally, also a total waste of space, and takes a whole star off with him.

This was unfortunately a DNF for me. Every time I picked up this book I could not get into it. It was so disappointing because I loved Children of Time and that while series. Maybe I wasn’t in the mood for a hard sci fi this time, but the only chapters I loved were the short ones talking about other planets from a science text.

Maybe I’ll come back to this in the future, and my eating will change. But for now, I cannot rate what I cannot finish.

A bit longer than it needed to be and drags in the middle as a consequence. The way the ending explored

a variety of conclusions in multiple universes ending

was entertaining.
