This book pick right where the Christmas story left off. Char is something else but she definitely doesn't play. It so many enemy that coming out and you not even sure who to trust. J-Rock is about to go through it. I'm definitely reading part 2.

Compass Kingpins
Since reading the Christmas novella, I've been intrigued with Charlotte and Joseph's story so this book was long overdue. There were so many layers to this couple. They were connected in more ways than one. Joe Doe and Ratchet have some explaining to do, along with Ramona. These characters were involved in some true crime situations. It will definitely be interesting to see how J-rock and Char get along once everything with their parents and the triads is played out. Ranisha should have been dealt with immediately. The storyline has a lot of moving parts so you have to pay attention.
