Thank you NetGallery and Sally Hepworth for this ARC to read! This is my unbiased opinion.

As always, Sally Hepworth delivers a read that is hard to put down. With that being said, I wasn't super into how it ended. It didn't end how I expected, which was nice, I thought I had the twist figured out. But I still wasn't happy with how it ended. I would give it 3.5 stars for that. However, it was captivating and I read it quickly which counts for something! I can always count on her for a good thriller experience.

Another “fine” domestic thriller by Hepworth. The ending felt anticlimactic and was again lacking more prominent suspense to leave me wanting more when I stopped reading for the night.

I found the characters’ backstories interesting, which is what kept me engaged. I think that we could have had a more gripping ending, but alas, nothing can be done about it now.

Overall, not a bad book, but not amazing either.

This was terrible. I’ve had 3 misses with Sally Hepburn but I think this was the worst. There was absolutely nothing good about this book. Rachel, Tully and Heather were not compelling characters at all. The plot, writing and ending also did absolutely nothing for me. The ending was particularly a letdown. I don’t recommend this to anyone and I will not read another book by this author.

This is my first book by this author. I wouldn’t call it a thriller or even a mystery. It’s written in three different peoples perspectives, which makes it slow to unravel. I’m not mad I read it.
