J'ai appris beaucoup d'informations sur le fonctionnement du corps humain, reste à mettre en pratique.

I got some good ideas from this book and have changed at least one habit of a lifetime. Unfortunately, towards the end it became too technical for me...too many bacterium.

I picked this book up after watching the Netflix documentary, and it has been such a pleasantly informative read!

The pace of the book is quite fast, and the concepts are explained thoroughly but in a manner that makes them easy to understand, which is something I deeply appreciated.

Sure, it can turn a bit dark and graphic at times (discussions about mental health and bodily discharge can be triggering for some, so you best be informed about them), but it's overall a great book if you're looking for a better understanding of your gut health.

Anyone who's had stomach problems, but doesn't know a lot about the gut should read this book. There is a lot going on down there that they didn't teach us in health class or biology. Not overwhelming to read for someone with no science background, but may be a little redundant for people who already have an established concept of the digestive system. Thoroughly enjoyed the book and now I know how poop works! Also, the illustrations were fun :)
