A very short read. I enjoyed it well enough but it was a bit strange. The message was unclear. It at first seems that it will display the risks of vanity and selfishness while also making the point of not trusting everything you hear.

In the end though, everything turns out just as Miss Philura asked. I suppose the message is to trust in God but this book seems to be telling it’s readers to take advantage of God in a way.
