I absolutely adored this book. It was the first book that has ever terrified and excited me to such an extent that I'd get family members coming to my bedroom telling me I've been in there reading for too long. Great plot, quite gory and gruesome, but that's never a bad thing.

Very enjoyable read.

Book One Angels and Demons
This book is amazing. But it is a work of fiction so if your very religious or think the storyline is bogus and your going to read it then dissect it instead of just enjoying the amazing story and plot then just don't bother. It's crazy the amount of people I know that have done just that and not just enjoyed this amazing work of fiction.
Their is a small love interest in the book but romance reader beware it takes a very back seat to the story but for me because the overall story is so good i didn't mind. Great ending.

Book Two Da Vinci Code
I absolutely loved this book. The plot and scenes it creates in your head is amazing and if you’ve been to the places it's even better then. Like Angel and Demons it's a work of FICTION and if your going to over analyse this book then dissect it for all the stuff you think is wrong with it then just don't bother reading it. I loved it. No great romance which is usually a must for me but cos the story's so good I can let it go.

Mysteries with cliffhangers and plot twists are fun, but Dan Brown tries way, way too hard. Every chapter ends with a shocking revelation that changes everything, one that the characters find out but that won’t be revealed to you until later. Annoying. Meg said, “"It’s like he doesn’t trust the reader to keep reading without forcing you to!”

Da Vinci, which came later, is definitely better. However, in both, supposedly brilliant scientists act really dim. Da Vinci scholars are amazed when a message uses mirror writing. A Frenchwoman is stunned to find that “sangreal” means “royal blood” (what else could it mean in French?).

But they are fun anyway. And fun to complain about!

I read “Angels and Demons” after “DaVinci code” (probably like everyone else) when I was around 17 or 18 years old, but these two books sealed the deal for me, Dan Brown becoming my number 1 favourite Author. Dan Brown is a master when it comes to Religious studies, History and Art. For someone who loves a good mystery combined with the right amount of Thriller, puzzles and twisting plots and is a major History buff, this book is no less than a treasure.
