An excellent short story collection with beautiful and sometimes painful stories about queer and Indigenous Australian life. A really interesting blend of writing styles and genre/tropes.

very warm and affecting storytelling ... loved the prose loved the actual narratives ... some stories felt too short and/or were less memorable than others but ellen van neervan does very well at establishing character + setting + emotion i think.
