Great continuation to the series. Madeleine Eliot pulled out all the stops with this second book and gave us a fun, sexy, quick read.

I enjoyed watching the MMC and FMC find their way back to each other, but the story of the FMC really coming into her own as both an individual and a powerful being was really fun to explode.

I also have a soft spot for many of the side characters introduced - hoping to see their stories!

Can’t wait to see how this one ends in the next book!

This book, I think, is as good as the first one. I can see several people saying it isn't as good. I was hooked from the first book and this sequel didn't change things for me. I am still upset over the twist with the character death toward the end. I was expecting it with the way things were going but that doesn't make me any less upset. I'm hoping the FMC and MMC get their revenge against the Crone for what she did to the FMC. I want an HEA for this trilogy, though I know my heart will break at the loss of another book in a great series. Ah, well. I'll definitely be reading the next book so I can get my HEA and conclusion.
