Jenny Linsky moves between the human world, where she’s adored by Captain Tinker, and the feline world, where she is a shy outsider. Jenny exhibits a clear case of imposter syndrome. The story hit an off note for me when she overcomes her challenge too easily, not by anything she does, but by waiting for the Captain to provide the solution that exhibits a natural ability which needs no honing.
