My goodness this was a beautiful story. I hate the love triangle trope (I blame TVD), but Taylor has such a way with words that I couldn't bring myself to put this book down, all while putting myself in Emma's very complicated situation and trying to see if I'd make the same choices she did. I live for the charming love confessions and that satisfying ending.

there’s no denying that TJR writes very beautifully, and her books are always interesting, captivating, thought-provoking and enjoyable. i really liked reading this. but i just didn’t think it was unforgettable. just a nice book with fleshed out characters, and a unique story!
