This was full of all the best tropes including the top tier: enemies to lovers and marriage of convenience. Psyche and Eros are so likable and you’re rooting for them from the first chapter. Thoroughly enjoyed 10/10 recommend

Best couple, most well written of the 4 I’ve read in this series.

Electric Idol was my favorite of the two books so far in the Dark Olympus series. I felt that in Neon Gods Hades and Persephone’s relationship was so rushed and instant love. It wasn’t horrible but I didn’t see the hype. However, Electric Idol surprised me. Some of my favorite book tropes such as marriage of convenience and enemies to lovers are in this book. I really enjoyed the character of Psyche. She is a confident main character. I like how she defies some of the book norms. Psyche is plus size and she has to form a bond or relationship before rushing into sexual relationships. These are things I don’t often see in more spicy books. Eros was a character I slowly came to like. He wants to break from his roles and Psyche is the way to that. This definitely was not an instant love. They did have an attraction but not love. Overall an enjoyable story,

So I really enjoyed the first book in this series, but I liked this one even more. Loved the main couple together and the tropes were *chefs kiss*.
