A delicious read! I was a bit skeptical of this book at first and almost didn’t read it. I am so glad that I did! The writing is beautiful and the story truly takes you into another world. There are twists and turns and none of them are what you expect and it is beautiful. A beautiful story about love, life and grief. I’d recommend to anyone.

ashley poston has such a way with words that helped me get out of my reading slump! the romance plot wasn't the only part of "the seven year slip" that kept me turning the pages—i have a changed outlook on life after following clementine's life, love, struggle, and growth. very appreciative of the author including sapphic representation and writing about suicide, and i loved catching the different parallels and symbolism.
