This was way more emotionally intense than expected. (The title and cover looked more like a romcom) Still really loved this book it had me gripped

I HAVE PRAYED FOR TIMES LIKE THESE
THIS. This is the slow burn sapphic romance book I have been craving my entire life. The angst, the tension, the pining was top tier. The clashing of fate, the Taylor Swift-ness of it all.
This instantly took the spot of my all time favorite romance book, easily. And it wasn’t just Tate and Penny and how perfectly frustrating and beautiful and inevitable their love was. But it was also the amazing portrayal of female familial relationships and the complexities within them. It was the depiction of grief and mental health. Of chronic illness and pain. The amount of emotions brimming within these pages was so raw and powerful and real.
Tess Sharpe knows how to write a fucking book, and I will devour anything she puts out.
