I am not a fan of scary things, so I was hesitant to sign up to review this book. But I love all the other books in this series that I've read and reading the story summaries, they didn't sound to scary. So I chose to review this book, and I'm glad I did. Below are my reviews of each story.

Of Ghosts and Gardens
This was my favorite of the collection. I liked the themes of being one's self and being loved for who you are. I thought the characters were well rounded and likable. This story had me laughing out loud at times.

It's You
I liked this story. It is an obviously LDS story, but more general terms were often used rather than more LDS specific vocabulary. This caused a bit of a disconnect for me as I read the story, but I do understand that it was probably done to make the story more accessible to readers of other religions.

Sophia's Curse
I really liked this story and the development of the main characters. The story took some turns I was definitely not expecting. I thought this story was well-crafted.

The Sirens' Song
This story had marvelous descriptions. The story didn't go at all as I expected. This story felt the most fantasy to me, the most out of the ordinary realm of the world. I found the idea behind this story quite intriguing. I liked how stories of the past were weaved in with the present.
Rating: 4.5 stars
Content: clean - some sensuality

The Man of Her Dreams
This story made me think of the cop/investigation shows on TV. I thought this story was very well-written. I found the characters fairly easy to relate to.
Rating: 4.5 stars
Content: Clean - some violence

The Ghost of Millhouse Mansion
This was an interesting tale with some interesting twists. At first it seemed fairly straight-forward, but some twists took it in an unexpected direction.
Rating: 4 stars
Content: Clean - some violence

Of Ghosts and Gardens by Sarah M. Eden
According to society, Enid is fast approaching spinsterhood at the ripe old age of nineteen. When a mysterious and handsome stranger, Burke Kennard, arrives at the Pryce house inquiring about their garden ghost, hope begins to bloom that spinsterhood might not be Enid's fate. But will the ghost, instead of bringing them together, prevent them from their happily ever after?
I absolutely loved this story! It was funny, heartwarming...just awesome! My favorite of this anthology!

It's You by Annette Lyon
Anna and Charlie both see the ghost of Nanny Mae Workman, but no one else does. Setting out to discover why they are the only ones able to, Anna uncovers old family secrets.
This story was okay, but I could never quite get into it. I didn't connect with either one of the main characters.

Sophia's Curse by Heather B. Moore
A dark curse haunts the Belrose and Rousseau families. Every five years, on All Hallows Eve, someone from one of the families (or connected to them) dies. Can Joan Belrose and Simon Rousseau find a way to break the curse before another life is claimed?
This was my second favorite story in this collection. It had a bit of a mystery that I really enjoyed.

The Siren Song by Lisa Mangum
On a cruise in the Mediterranean, Oliver goes overboard. He's abducted by a siren and taken to a hidden island where his most cherished memories are stolen from him. Can he let go of his most beloved memory for the chance of freedom?
Definitely the most unique story of the bunch, it was very poignant and held my attention throughout.

The Man of Her Dreams by Jordan McCollum
Detective Alexandra Steen often has dreams predicting murders, but is always too late to prevent them. Until one day, her dream is different and doesn't end with the victim's death. What does this mean?
This story was interesting and had moments of suspense, but wasn't one of my favorites.

The Ghost of Millhouse Mansion by Elana Johnson
When Naomi is asked by Colt Jennings to restore an old rocking horse located at his house, the Millhouse Mansion, she jumps at the chance. She's always been fascinated with the old house and has been clamoring to restore the whole place. Rumors of ghost sightings at the property have persisted for years and when Naomi actually sees one, what's she to do?
The spookiest of the anthology, it was my favorite among the contemporary offerings.

Like with most novella collections, this was a mixed bag of good and not as good, but it did put me in just the right mood for Halloween!

It was nice, but I think I like the other anthology better - [b:A Timeless Romance Anthology: Happily Ever After Collection|36156795|A Timeless Romance Anthology Happily Ever After Collection|Jessica Day George|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1504182512l/36156795._SY75_.jpg|57764807].

I received this eBook free in exchange for an honest review.

All Hallows Eve is an "Timeless Romance" anthology featuring six clean romance novellas, all of which have a supernatural element. Three of them are historical fiction and three of them are contemporary. All six stories were charming and entertaining, but my absolute favorite was the first story in the book, Of Ghosts and Gardens. Set in 19th century Wales, it centers around an unexpected friendship between an unconventional Welsh girl and an English aristocratic scholar researching Welsh battle lore. The stories are fast paced, engaging, and will tug at your heart strings. This is a great collection from cover to cover.

Enjoyed this compilation of various authors. Each story was unique and ranged from historical ghost stories to a modern detective with paranormal abilities. I was introduced to one or two new authors that I hadn't read before and am looking forward to reading more by these authors!

It’s always hard to rate these anthologies as some of the stories are great and some are just ok. This had some good ones for Halloween time and was a fun October read so overall I’m going with 4 stars even though there was one story I didn’t like at all.
