This seems to be the turning point in the manga. The Blue Lock team has played against each other narrowing down to the beso of the best. They're now about to have their first public match with some of Japan's top soccer players, (fangirling so hard)! We are FINALLY about to see the Itoshi brothers go head to head...I'm so excited to read the next volume, shit is getting real! This was the perfect lead up to the next moment.

kind of a transitional volume but that’s okay, i’m looking forward to starting the u-20 match! i was kind of worried about the tryout matches getting really boring so i was happy (and also extremely amused) that the author decided to just fast forward by making isagi oversleep LMAO 

also can we discuss why shido needed to be put into full hannibal lecter restraints just because he picked a fight with rin 😭 ego is going to be serving jail time by the end of this
