Short and sweet novella! I enjoyed the message about living in the moment and not worrying so much about the destination. The full cast recording and added sound effects were a great treat, but I didn’t totally love that some of the dialogue was done so that the sound only came through from one side (for example: one character could be heard from the right side only and the other character from the left). I understand that it was to mimic a conversation, but it was a bit disorienting to listen to. Overall a quick and easy listen.

♡ Martijn & Amy

☆ Quick & fun listen!
☆ MCs give 'Leap Year' vibes
☆ I liked them platonic 🤓 (they should've parted with that pact; not a fan of that ending)

You wouldn’t expect such a short book to make you reflect on life so much but it did. Also shows that unexpected turns (like too much snow so you can’t reach the place you’re going) doesn’t have to mean the end of the world. It’s OK to be spontaneous sometimes. A great read.

The audio production was good but I didn't find the story appealing.

A woman goes on a trip and meets someone who is personable and inspiring. They form a friendship and something clicks in the woman that changes her life while on her trip. It was a bit too short and I didn't feel enough attachment to the characters. I think if it were a bit longer I would have liked it more.

Cute little Christmas short with Hallmark movie vibes.
