I had a good time with this book! It was a bit predictable but I thought the magic system was super cool and unique (appreciated the list to understand it better though). The few twists were fun as well. Looking forward to the story continuing.

Five stars for how readable and engaging this book is, and three stars for the BS cliffhanger ending.  There was a lot of things that didn’t make a whole lot of sense throughout this story and it was really too long for the story it was trying to tell.
