A fun side story in the delightful universe of the laundry.

A relatively early Bob Howard story. It started slowly. But once we get to talk to the old coots the story gets going. And then it is fun all the way to the end.

Another interesting short story in the laundry files series. Makes sense even standing alone.

Also an excellent story with weaponized chess.

Bob goes visit the Funny Farm and deals with a Mainframe. I mostly loved the use of a chessboard as 2,5(?)-Turing machine.
