Rowling had no idea what to do with this book and it shows. There is no consistent tone or theme throughout, and it's very dull and plodding. Don't even get me started on the pandering, miserable epilogue.

"Do not pity the dead. Pity the living, and above all, those who live without love." Final words from Dumbledore.

Although I found the ending to be a little rushed, I do believe that the Deathly Hallows a fitting conclusion to the series. It's a great tribute to Harry's enduring selflessness and bravery in the face of great adversity, loss, grief, and desperation. Despite the story's march towards darker times for Hogwarts and the Wizarding World at the beginning of the book, the build-up to the final clash between good and evil makes for some incredible display of excellent storytelling and character development. After completing this great series, I feel compelled to revisit the movies and see if and how they do justice to JK Rowling's storytelling.

Such a great ending!
All the couples ending up together was so good! Seeing a more in depth look at Snape and Draco’s trauma and how they overcame and turned around for better was definitely my favorite part! Seeing Rin and Hermonie together was so worth the wait! There was so much beauty from tragedy! NEVILE LONGBOTTOM !! Definitely one of the best character arcs ever!
