Poor Larf, the Sasquatch, thinks he is the last of his kind. He doesn't mind being all by himself, in fact he likes it. When he reads that a sasquatch is scheduled to make an appearance in a nearby town, he decides to go. Maybe he is not the only one.
This has all of Ashley Spires delightful art and classic sweetness and humour. The kindergarten group that I read this to loved it!

So cuuuuute! I love the illustrations and his adorable disguise when LARF ventures out among the humans. This would be such a fun books to use at a Storytime about identity or about urban myth creatures.

Poor Larf seems to be the only Bigfoot of his kind. And he's a little set in his ways. But when he hears of the opportunity to meet another real-life, genuine Bigfoot, he's intrigued enough to make the journey into the city. He's disappointed to find that he has been fooled again...or has he?

Cute, funny, and with a final scene that reminds me a little of Forrest Gump.

Larf is a sasquatch who is left entirely alone because no one believes he exists. He’s pretty sure that he’s the only sasquatch in the world, since he has never met another one. He lives a very quiet life in the woods, alone with his pet bunny, Eric. So when Larf hears that a sasquatch is to appear in the nearby city of Hunderfitz, he is astounded. After all, he wasn’t planning an appearance. Larf then realizes that he might not be the only sasquatch in the world. Larf disguises himself as a human and heads off to the city by bus. But when he gets there, he finds that the sasquatch is actually a guy in a costume. The give-away was the zipper and the small feet. Never fear though, Larf is in for one more big surprise.
