Perfectly average. I personally think it was much too long. There were multiple twists, which I felt dwindled the meaningfulness of each one. Each twist was well-executed which was why it ended up being a bit annoying every time another one came. Around the 50% mark, I would have been happy if it ended.

This book was boring. Calling it a thriller is a real stretch. It definitely took way too long for anything to happen and I was just happy for it to end. It also had a weird vibe like it wasn’t written in the right timeline.

An absolute treat to read because it is so bad. Between the absolute outright fatphobia, racism, misogyny, piss poor writing, and ableism towards the autistic community, lies a absolutely unintentional comedy. I hated every second of this book but I couldn’t put it down. I was constantly wandering how she was going to continue with the story as “plot twists” litter this book. I now use Jane Corry’s names to describe anything that is so bad it’s good.
