“Orbiting Jupiter” is an amazing book. If you have or are a teacher that knows foster kids this is a heart felt book to read. I have always hoped to be there for all underdog students that step into my room. Still can’t decide if it’s a good cry or a sad cry, guess you’ll have to find out for yourself.

Not sure how such a short book ended up being so sad. There’s so much packed in here that I almost wish we got a bit more time to sit with it. I wasn’t a big fan of the ending but overall this book surprised me with how deep and dark it was.

I heard about this book from an Instagram reel that said “read these books if you want to cry.” And it did not disappoint. The ending. Have tissues handy.

I adore this book. It's so heartbreaking, but beautiful.
It's hard to say whether I should recommend it, simply because it's so heavy and has a lot of brokenness involved, but I have to admit that it's one of my favorite books. So...yeah.
