Everyone should read this book It's an ABSOLUTE SHAME it isn't as popular as Malala's. This is horrifying. The Yazidi genocide and what these girls and families endured is almost as terrifying as the holocaust. I'm lost for words. Just read it.

These people deserve everything good life has to offer. Nadia Murad deserves the world.

“Your body doesn’t belong to you, and there’s no energy to talk or to fight or to think about the world outside. There is only rape and the numbness that comes with accepting that this is now your life”

An honest and gut wrenching story. This books shows the depths of human depravity and the heights of human resiliency and courage.

Real life Handmaid's Tale. If you think human trafficking and religious persecution cannot exist simultaneously, read Nadia's story and stand up for women's and minority rights!
