Read this in one-sitting with a few breaks in between while I dabbed at my eyes and blew my nose for crying. This feels like a very important, vital book in a digestible format.

This is a really great graphic medicine book. It’s beautiful. I marked so many poignant, funny, and moving pages. Hopefully I can write a more in-depth review soon.

I get it. My dad died at 47 and sometimes feels like grief is drowning me. This is probably the first book where the author was able to verbalize the feeling and emotions of losing a parent who was so young.
Rhonda was an extraordinary woman.

I wish I had this book when my mom passed away, but now that it exists, I’m glad that it will be able to help any person (regardless of age) dealing with the grief of losing a loved one. I love that she’s honest about not only the time before her mom’s passing, but also the constant feeling of being motherless after passing. While this book is at its core a book about discussing grief, I feel like it also provides its reader with a bit of hope that they are not alone in their feelings and that memories of our loved ones will last forever.

This memoir was a very insightful look at grief and the loss of a loved one. I liked the graphic novel format, it made a more difficult topic feel more accessible. I enjoyed seeing Tyler's different relationships. I would recommend, a great read.
