This book was super cute and great for my F1 hyper fixation. The characters were super likable and the book itself was an easy read. I’m excited for the other books

This was probably the best read for me to deal with race cars cause it’s not much of a topic I’m into, but it was a fun read. I do like that the bad boy went to therapy to get help instead of relying on the girl to fix him so that was better than the usual way this trope goes! Although, he probably needed longer in therapy before he was actually “changed.” A few sessions of therapy won’t exactly “fix” you that quickly, but I did like to see the progression for the characters.

I didnt like this book going into it but ended up loving the characters. Wish there was more of a plot tbh
3.5/5 ☆
this book was cute but don’t get me wrong, i struggled to read it. noah was so immature for 75% of the book. yes, he did a few cute things here & there, but some of his actions really irritated me. i lowkey wished santiago put up more of a fight like he found out & then immediately forgave them within minutes. like bro, be mad. i do appreciate a man going to therapy, but you’re telling me he undid 30 years of trauma in two months? unlikely. however, i did like the tropes in it: brother’s teammate, enemies to lovers, SLOW BURN, close proximity, secretly dating, etc. i did enjoy how much their pov was like them writing it down. thoughts, feelings, everything was written down in such a cool way. like you’re experiencing it with them as it’s happening. idk it was a really cool touch to it. but idk noah just didn’t really do it for me like i thought he would. i will be reading the rest of the series since they’re on KU but not any time soon.

I’m actually obsessed with this book and I think this is going to easily become my favorite sports romance series ever. Everything about this book I loved! Maya and Noah had a connection from the moment they saw each other but Maya didn’t want to give in because of her brother Santiago. The build up, the physical and sexual tension, the banter between Maya and Noah and the forbiddeness *chefs kiss*. This spice in this book too Noah has me BLUSHING…like the things that came out of this mans mouth wow. I loved the emotional side of the book with Noah realizing that he can know and experience love after being physically abused by his father and emotionally abused by his mother. The ending was literally so cute and I 100% had tears in my eyes. Someone please find me a Noah Slade because wow!
