My first read about F1 and it was super good! Noah and Maya somehow made it work even though he is her brothers rival. I liked how Noah  always had a crush on her. He wasn’t the best at the begging but once I got to know him he became so much better. It’s a good and tense filled love story that made me consist all my laundry in a day.

Noah & Maya!!!
Honestly only struggled to finish this book because of work and having minimal free time
I have always loved Lauren Asher's writing and she sure knows how to write my favorite type of men in her books. Noah definitely was a red flag, amazingly enough did not rely on Maya to be his own personal therapist. I love seeing mental health with men being written in such a positive light. Amazed to see him turn from a red flag into an actual green flag.

Maya was such a relatable and sweet character. I found her to be so funny especially when she wanted to push away how she actually felt for Noah. Loved seeing her stand up for herself <3 YAY!

Overall, 4/5 stars for me! I would recommend!

I really enjoyed Throttled by Lauren Asher. The writing style was super easy to read, making it effortless to fly through the book. I also loved how Formula 1 was explained in a way that even non-fans could follow. It added a unique and exciting backdrop to the story.

The tension between Maya and Noah at the beginning was fantastic. The whole brother’s enemy to lovers trope was done just right, and Noah’s bad-boy persona mixed with his willingness to change for the right girl made him such a compelling character. His dedication, even going to therapy to prove himself, was a standout moment. It really showed his growth and made the romance even more rewarding.

Speaking of romance, it was definitely romancing! There was a great balance of passion and sweetness, and I loved seeing Noah and Santiago (Maya’s brother and Noah’s teammate) eventually come to an understanding.

The only reason this isn’t a full five stars for me is Maya’s character. While she does improve by the end, I didn’t feel her growth as much throughout the book, unlike Noah’s. She had potential but just fell a little short in terms of development.

Overall, Throttled is an entertaining, steamy, and emotional read with a fantastic male lead and an engaging romance. Definitely worth picking up. I'm looking forward to read the other books of the Dirty Air series of Liam, Jax, and Santiago.
