I barely got into the book before I realised minimal basic research had been put in place for Mayas character. It is clearly an American ideal just placed in other countries, I mean a simple google on how Spanish universities work was not done - that just completely changes the authenticity of the book. Alongside cheesy writing that could easily be found in a 14 year olds first attempt at a novel. This book just wasn't for me.

I love the F1 world in this book. Maya is living my dream tbh!! 
I mean, your brother races in F1 and you get to travel the world with him?? And on top of that, you meet your dream guy, hellooo?? 

I did find the writing style a bit childish, but that might be because I read the translation
