Found book over-hyped, boring, and repetitive. But I think the message of it can be nice if you are in a more somber mood and want to read something simple, but hopeful.

Very didactic and a teeny bit cringe at times, but overall I enjoyed this. Seeing all these different possible lives is a great plot device that keeps things interesting. Ordinarily I wouldn’t appreciate a book so overt with its message, but for such a sensitive topic I think it’s better to prioritise making that message absolutely clear. A nice read that a lot of people could take something from.
