"Where there are books, there is always a temptation to open them."

Reminiscent of the movie "It's A Wonderful Life," except instead of only experiencing one alternative, the protagonist experiences many.  It does get a bit preachy, but so did "It's A Wonderful Life."

the one by taylor swift if it was a book

i persist and resist the temptation to ask you if one thing had been different, would everything be different today?

A lesson in finding hope within despair, and also embracing the many worlds theory in physics.

I gave this book 4 stars because it made me reflect on my own life — I wasn’t expecting it to.
However, the book itself is a bit cliche. I think the concept of the book is wonderful, the writing style could just be stronger.

I hate when the ending of a book is so good it bumps its star rating up one. The ending was so good but the rest of the book was kind of bland and slow.

I put every possible content warning I saw the minor ones were pretty much just mentioned by the word and same with a few of the moderate ones but they repeated a bit.

This book is a true inspiration to be grateful for what one has. A delicate versatile story about dreams and life itself. I listened to the German audiobook read by Annette Frier last year and found it even more intriguing than reading the book.

a bit cliché at the end, but also a fun and quick read. i liked the main character and the plot - it was a very nice concept with the Midnight Library. there were a few boring moments when i found myself not really caring about what was happening. however at the end of the day i enjoyed reading the book and i think the hole concept will stick with me for a while
