Wow! This is not the type of book that I usually read but I ended up falling in love with it. I will warn that there are a lot of heavy storylines within it but I felt like it ended perfectly

I didn’t have very high expectations for this book but this pleasantly surprised me. It was better than I thought it would be. It was a beautiful, interesting story about multiple universes which brought in a whole bucketload of inspirational shit to try and give me the will to live. It did fairly well. This gave me a rollercoaster of emotions, and while it wasn’t intense feelings, there were a lot of happy, sad, and captivating moments throughout the story. Quotes both optimistic and depressing are both treasured. The main characters weren’t anything special, and I didn’t really feel a connection to them. The plot was incredibly predictable and would have loved it more if there was a big plot twist or unexpected ending, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I do love the way this was written as I enjoyed feeling like I was going through the lives with Nora, and it was exciting to see what she would choose and how all the lives turn out. Overall, I did really like the book. It was a bit triggering at a lot of points, but I would recommend for the plot alone because I love the idea. While not executed in the best way, it was an incredible, life changing read.
“You don’t have to understand life. You just have to live it”
“Never underestimate the big importance of small things”
“You see, doing one thing differently is very often the same as doing everything differently”
“You will never live if you are looking for the meaning of life”
“If you aim to be something you are not, you will always fail. Aim to be you”
“The only way to learn is to live”
“As Thoreau wrote, ‘It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see”

I almost didn’t make it past the first 10% of this book. But once Nora starts jumping books things really pick up and it was not-put-downable for me.

It was not the most well crafted story, there was a lot that was incredibly predictable, but it was still engrossing and thought provoking. I would love a good book club discussion about it.
