minus 1 star for lowkey saying that depression isn’t an illness and can be fixed with a different “perspective”

I'm developing an affinity for "Sliding Doors/It's A Wonderful Life" style storylines.

This one ended more optimistically than I expected based on the halfway point.

"If you aim to be something you are not, you will always fail. Aim to be you. Aim to look and act and think like you. Aim to be the truest version of you. Embrace that you-ness. Endorse it. Love it. Work hard at it. And don't give a second thought when people mock it or ridicule it. Most gossip is envy in disguise."

Very short, quick read. Heavy on topics of depression and suicide.

I suppose I can understand the hype because of the wonderful life lesson, but this one just didn’t hit the nail on the head for me. There didn’t seem to be enough depth in the book.

I did, however, find that reading about the different lives of Nora was very enjoyable and entertaining.
